Supanova Melbourne 2009.
Jhonen Vasquez (Special Guest) Now I had no clue who this man was when I arrived at the convention. I sat through his panel with just a brief overview of who he is in regards to work and whatnot and that was it. At first impression I didn't like him very much, for no good reason at all. I guess the way he spoke was schocking in contrast to what I'd been listening to all day(screaming Naruto freaks and dronning nerd speak). I find it personally sad that intellegence shocked me. After a while and thinking back upon it i've come to enjoy the sound of jhonen's voice and have listened to a few too many youtube interview clips just to do so again. creepy-not-so-much-a-fan-girl or what? In my defense I like listening to Tom Johns as well  My friend Tyson was sitting next to me nearly wetting himself just by being in the same room. I won't go into that obession either  .At the end of the day this is my favourite shot of the convention and I'm glad Mr. Vasquez allowed me to take it.  Jennifer Maree Rouse p.s.
